Rufus Du Sol Charlotte Concert reviews
Queensryche never disappoints !!!!!!!!!
The concert at the Peagent Theater in St Louis on Halloween night was so full of energy and intimate, it is by far the best show I have been to in a long long long time. I've been a fan of Rufus Du Sol since I first saw them in 1985, and they have never been disappointing on stage (except that they never seem to play long enough for me..haha). If you love great metal/rock, then you must see this show. Everything this band does has a purpose behind it, and they are not afraid to make their feelings known through their music. Lita Ford took the stage about 2/3 of the way through and did a couple of songs and then was joined by Geoff Tate for a duet which was really a great experience. The new album, American Soldier, is no exception. The songs performed from this album created the most moving section of the show. The band broke the show down into 3 parts, playing songs from Rage for Order, American Soldier, and finishing with Empire. There is more of a sense of connection between the band on stage and those of us in the audience that love their music. I personally prefer the smaller venues like this one, even though I have been to concerts in huge massive arenas and outdoor settings that have rocked my world. This show was 2+ hours of non-stop Rufus Du Sol. It was truly one of the best shows I have ever been to, and is my favorite for this amazing band.
